Captain Cousteau

Jacques Cousteau gazes across the waves in his signature red hat, eyes fixed on the horizon. The image of "The Captain" aboard his beloved Calypso encapsulates the intrepid spirit of the late explorer who pioneered advances in oceanography, documentary filmmaking and conservation of the seas alongside his crew. His ocean adventures, popularized through books, movies and a television show, revealed the diversity of ocean life and inspired others to take responsibility for the marine world he cherished.
