The Honey Badger

Today we present to you a fantastic animal. One of the most brutal, and throat-crushingly hardcore mammals to ever nut-punch a lion – the African Honey Badger (also known as the Ratel):

Originally we thought the Honey Badger to be a fictitious creature with a friendly yet mischievous cheeky character and an insatiable appetite for honey. How wrong we were!.... apart from the loving honey part.

He's so tough that the South African army actually named their heavily-armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicle after this voracious predator:

He also loves honey and bee larvae and his method of getting it is as hardcore as he is – he'll jams his face into a beehive and start feasting on and honey while being swarmed by crazy pissed-off bees stabbing him in the face with their stingers.  He doesn't register pain, fear, or any emotion other than anger, and mystifyingly doesn't even seem to notice the hundreds of stab-wounds he receives to the eyeballs and facial area.

Honey Badger, we salute you!
