Hungry?

On this day in 1981 an unknown man by the name of Andreas Mihavecz broke the world record for longest survival with out food or water. He was locked in an Austrian prison and forgotten about for 18 days! He used ninja breathing techniques such as taping his mouth shut to slow down the rate at which his body used energy. He showed incredible ninja mental skills for an 18 year old, these usually take a life time of discipline and training. His crime? Being a passenger in a crashed car.

Also on this day in 1778 the $ symbol was created by Irish-born New Orleans businessman Oliver Pollock.
